Teredos which has taken it's name form Tenes -the grandchild of the god of the seas, Poseidon- has been a settling area for 4000 years according to Heredot. It has played important roles through the ages and witnessed different cultures of many civilizations.

After some other names the island has taken it's final name 'Bozcaada'. Bozcaada is famous for wide vineyards, wines, unique creeks and four season blowing cool wind.
